Learn To Search Like a Pro Using My IDX MLS Search Link!

1. Understand Basic Search Filters:

• Location: In the first field you can search an entire city, such as Scottsdale, Tempe, etc. You can also specify the street address, neighborhood, ZIP code, or MLS number to search for listed properties.
• Property Type: Select whether you're interested in Single-Family Homes, Condos, Townhomes / Patio Homes, Apartments, etc.
• Price Range: Enter the minimum and maximum price range for the properties you're interested in. *For more information on determining your budget, you can CLICK HERE. • Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Determine the number of bedrooms and bathrooms that meet your requirements.

2. Explore Advanced Search Options:

• Square Footage: Specify the minimum and maximum square footage of your ideal property.
• Features: Look for specific features such as a garage, pool, or fireplace, etc. based on your preferences.
• Year Built: If the age of the property matters to you, set a range for the year it was built.

3. Save Your Search Criteria:

Most IDX MLS search platforms allow you to save your search criteria. On my IDX platform, creating an account is necessary to save your searches. This added benefit is that you can also receive notifications when new properties matching your criteria are listed. Once you're selected all your search criteria, it's time to view the results.

4. How To View Property Listings In Your Search:

• Click "View Results" Button: On the left you'll see how many listings matched your criteria, an "Edit Search" button, and a "Save This Search" button. Under the displayed number of listings and 2 buttons, you'll see the list of properties arranged in ascending order in list price.
• View Details On Properties In Your Search: Click on the "Detail" link toward the right side of the page. This opens the Detail display and you'll see the property "plano" for any property you've selected. Sroll on the "plano" to find a ton of additional info.
• View Photos Of Properties In Your Search: Click on the "Photos" link next to the Detail link, and you'll be able to scroll through all photos uploaded for the property. Some listings include virtual tours or videos, providing you with a better understanding of the property's layout and features.
• View Maps & Stats: You're getting the idea now! To get back to the List view, just click on the "List" link.

5. How To Edit Or Save Your Search Results:

• Edit Your Search: If you want to narrow your search based on the results, just click the "Edit" button and select or unselect from the search criteria list, and repeat the process. If the platform offers alert features, set up email alerts for new listings or price changes that match your criteria.
• Save Your Search: KeepIf you want to save a search, my IDX will require you to create an account. It's simple...click on the "Save This Search" button, a pop-up window will load, enter the required info and select a password. I strongly suggest "bookmarking" my IDX page as your created account can be accessed only from my IDX page. Don't worry about me bugging the crap out of you or calling and emailing you constantly...not my style at all. Also, your info will not be shared at all, with anyone, at any time, for any reason. checking the platform regularly as new properties are listed and existing ones might undergo price changes.

6. Stay Updated:

Once you've created your account, you can set up automatic updates to receive alerts to the email you used in your account creation. You can control the frequency of the alerts. Also, I'll be notified of your account, so I'll be able to assist in this updates process if you'd like.
